The Rayne Village Society was formed at an open meeting in the Village Hall on 19th February, 1987. The aims of the Rayne Village Society are to stimulate public interest in the protection, preservation and improvement of the village, its environment, character and amenities and to take action in any other matters deemed to be of benefit or concern to the village. Free membership of the Society is available to all persons living or working in the parish of Rayne or any other persons interested in the Village and having its welfare at heart. The AGM of the Rayne Village Society will be held on Friday, 27th March at 7.30pm in Rayne Hall (courtesy of Mr & Mrs R. Pertwee). Following the AGM will be a talk and slide show by Sylvia & Roger Jiggins on Wildlife in Uganda. All Rayne residents are welcome. Admission £4 per person.

The Rayne Village Society has established a group of interested like-minded people to discuss and help each other with their family research. Beginners welcome!
